Volcano Eruption Types with famous examples from across the World…

Volcanoes Explained
This type are often found in Iceland, so we have an example from the Iceland itself, the very famous Holuhraun.

There has been an estimated  1,500 potentially active volcanoes worldwide right now, and most of them have been erupting multiple times endangering the lives of many people living in nearby places.

Yes, there have been incidents when a whole city has been gulped off by the molten lava destroying anything which came on it’s way. Yes we are talking about the extremely dangerous Volcano in the world….Mount Vesuvius of Italy. In 79CE an eruption from Vesuvius buried the whole city of Pompeii.

Another volcano is the Mauna Loa in the Hawaii, which is considered to be the biggest volcano in the world, standing at a whooping 13,677 feet above sea level.

We had enough of the negatives….Is there anything at all, which is positive about Volcanoes???? To our surprise yes!!! The Volcanoes helps create new land by lava hardening on which the humans can live. And the best example we could provide is the Iceland. And that is the reason why Iceland is called the Land of fire and Ice…

And not just that, Volcanic dust, ash and rocks decompose into soils with an exceptional ability to hold nutrients and water, making them very fertile….

It also acts as a source of Geothermal Energy.
