3. Make a to do list
Make it a habit to plan your next day before going to sleep. While making this list, make sure you stay realistic and include goals that can be achieved. Don’t over strain yourself. And don’t forget to set priorities to the tasks.
4. Give a break
Promise to yourself that you would stay focused for a particular task and after having done that with full focus, you can now reward yourself with a break. But be careful that it should be a technology free break. Otherwise you will find yourself browsing through your fb profile for like eternity….:p
5. Time for distractions
Give a break to your addiction especially the social media platforms. Assign a particular time for the engaging in such tasks. We know, it would be difficult, but try minimizing the amount of time spent staring at your phone or computer screen. Start by switching off all your devices for one hour, and engage in something else. Gradually you could get rid of the addiction and hence the major distractions of your life.
We know in this digital era, a day without your phone or WiFi seems impossible, but what if some simple hacks and a few restrictions can reduce the distractions at work and improve your life. So next time you sit down to do a very important task, remember these points and also don’t over-strain yourself, or else you would end up procrastinating.
